MPS is a unique mainstream school focusing on home language teaching in Afrikaans and English at each of our 4 different faculties that complement each other. The tranquil and pastoral location of the school setting is the ideal environment for a holistic and quality based education of our students. At our Performing and Creative Arts Faculty our students are able to take art, dance, drama and musical tuition classes. We offer a wide variety of extra mural activities and besides the normal School sport like athletics rugby, cricket, netball, hockey and swimming we support Junior Golf, Mixed Martial arts, Archery, Mountain biking and Orientation. We also recognize and support students in other extracurricular sports like Dance, Ballet, Karate, Angling, Figure skating, Equestrian disciplines and Go carting.
We strongly adhere to our Vision, Mission and Value statements which are the foundation for the governance and management of our school and actions. Our fixed class sizes and low teacher to student ratio ensures that discipline is maintained in our classrooms and allows for individual attention. We have a dedicated and committed group of professionally qualified educators ensuring the quality and excellence of teaching at MPS. An additional benefit at MPS is the availability of a Tina Cowly reading centre on the premises assisting our students with any reading and learning difficulties.
